BOOK YOUR FIRST AID COURSE TODAY!
The Blended Paediatric First Aid course is OFSTED Approved and complies with the requirements and guidelines set out by OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The course is ideal for anyone working in an Early Years setting such as a Childminder, Teacher or Nursery Assistant. It is a two day course that ensures individuals are confident and ready to deal with any paediatric First Aid situation that may occur.
It is a blended course which means you will be expected to complete day 1 of the course independently before attending day 2 of the course which will be face-to-face with one of our trainers. Once the course has been booked and payment has been received, Leicestershire First Aid Training will distribute all credentials and as a result, the online module can be completed at your own pace. The online course will have to be completed before you enter the classroom for day 2 of the course. There will be a range of teaching methods used to ensure that you have gained the skills and knowledge to become a competent Paediatric First Aider, this includes real-life scenario examples and videos. It will also include delegates participating in practical elements, where they will demonstrate CPR and the recovery position using the equipment provided. There will be a multiple choice examination which will take place at the end of the course.
After successfully completing this course, each delegate will recieve certification to be a responsible Paediatric First Aider within the workplace. Certificates are valid for three years and by default, certificates are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).
